The Board's role is to fulfill the vision and mission of the Nashua School District by setting policy, approving curriculum and assessment materials and strategies, approving human resource decisions, negotiating union contracts, overseeing operations and finance decisions, and establishing the annual operating budget. 

Meetings are normally held on the third Monday of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the classroom at the Nashua Police Department. Due to conflicts in the schedules of the individual Police Commissioners, some dates or times may need to be changed. However, advanced notice will be given according to RSA 91-A:2. 

Nashua's Channel 16 offers non-commercial Government programming as a public service to the Community. Broadcasts include live gavel-to-gavel coverage of government meetings (including the Board of Aldermen), special programs about City government projects, and training programs. 

Nashua's Educational Television (Old Channel 99) Channel 22 offers non-commercial Educational programming as a public service to the Community. Nashua ETV works with public and private schools to inform, highlight and educate citizens about local school programs, events and goals. Nashua ETV broadcasts on Comcast Channel 99 

Nashua's Public Television (Old Channel 96) Channel 6 offers non-commercial public generated programming as an added service to the Community. Nashua’s broadcasts will include a wide variety of programming covering topics from A to Z. Some topics you will see are cooking, arts and crafts, health, current affairs, music, storytelling, history, political issues, and many others.
