The Nashua Republican City Committee applauds all State Representatives who voted in favor of HB 361, helping it successfully pass in the House.
Given that there is no conclusive evidence that wearing a mask prevents or significantly reduces the transmission of respiratory viruses, and substantial evidence exists showing that mask-wearing can negatively impact children's learning and development, we strongly support this bill.
We firmly believe the decision to wear a mask should be a personal choice, and for students, a decision made by their parents, not mandated by school administrators.
We urge the Senate to pass HB 361 and protect the rights of individuals and families in making these important health decisions.
Respectfully,
The Executive Board
Nashua Republican City Committee
